segueing from buffy to worthless TV, i just finished every episode of bones available on nflx intant in about… oh, a week.5. i kinda just listen to TV as i’m doing work. the sound design on bones is really weird. the background voice actors are very clear and you can catch actual words, where in other shows it’s just mumbling. then you look at the screen and none of the extras are talking. it’s disturbing.
now i need a new show. recs? i’ve got maybe 4 more hours of work tonight and i don’t think i can make it dry.

It was just bad in the first couple of seasons but when Zack ended up a serial killer it really jumped the shark. They also have no idea how to write for the ensemble cast. It was just bad in the first couple of seasons but when Zack ended up a serial killer it really jumped the shark. They also have no idea how to write for the ensemble cast. Shit just randomly happens in their personal lives out of nowhere despite not having said anything about their character for the last season.
i had a brief acquaintanceship with the exec story editor and whenever there’s one of those strange plot adds you’re talking about his face pops front and center in my mind.

no details yet. apparently he slid off a turn into a ravine today, was life flighted, and later succombed to his inuries.
i had the privlege of enjoying a day with him once. full of life, HAPPY, and a complete love and joy of motorcycling and helping others be better and safer at the sport.
its fucking bullshit that HE gets taken away when he lived to help others so much. that said he was doing what he loved and what he had a complete and total passion for. i guess we should all be so lucky

He was featured in a national moto rag, mostly because he put 100,000 miles on a “beginner” bike and made experts look like they had never ridden before when they tried to follow him.

I only spent 2 1/2 years driving a bike, and I almost got killed three times by ignorant and/or insane drivers. No more of that for me, no matter how beautiful, poetic, and/or gas efficient the rest of the experience was.
