I’m not upset. I joke about my boobs all the time. I’m just self conscious about photos. But, I did post the picture, so it’s half my fault. I felt pretty today… that usually doesn’t happen.
No, it was 100% on me being a jerk. This is EXACTLY why I’m not on Twitter; it seems like a golden opportunity to be flippant and make an ass of yourself in a matter of seconds.
I hope someone claims Barton this time, not because I want him out of the A’s org but because I think he needs a new environment. Same is probably the case with Weeks, for that matter.
Assuming nobody claims him, if Barton thinks he has a future in MLB, my advice to him is to decline an assignment to Sacramento (thus forfeiting the remaining $750K or so on this year’s contract) and sign with an organization where he thinks that future might be realized.
Or he can take his $750K, if he thinks that’s the last real money he’s getting out of baseball, and waste the rest of the season as a River Cat.
