These days I don’t often get to root for the better team… Why can’t I also root for the better show?

twitter will be vigilant against any potential Byg Urb impersonators. Some good comments in the thread:

La Russa probably uses six lawyers to get through a lawsuit for which most managers would only need three.

I just watched Fareed Zakaria GPS (with Michael Lewis) on CNN while I ate the vegan pancakes I just made. Now there’s one of the few news shows I can bear to watch, given the coverage of international events, it’s a good choice for those who are looking for more than “LOL Michele Bachmann / Nancy Pelosi”… so it will probably get canceled soon.
Also I didn’t realize he was a fellow Indian until I just checked out his Wikipedia page.

Anyone know why there’s no pre-game show on the radio now? No Marty Lurie earlier either…just syndicated Fox Sports national programming.

I was just going to ask this. The game is at 1, right? I just flipped on the radio and all I have is Lincoln Kennedy talking about hockey.

Seriously, the game starts in 15 friggin minutes and some generic sports talk guy is droning on about the Lakers.

I figure some hungover intern at 860 AM forgot to to flip the switch from “national feed” to “A’s broadcast.” In which case, it’s pissing me off, but I do find it amusing to suppose that Ray Fosse has been unknowingly delivering his pre-game remarks anyway, to an audience of two guys in the radio booth and no one else..

If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is listening, how does it feel?

            I think you mean:

If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is listening, how awesome does it feel?

    Walks! I love walks!

Rich Hill had the same BB rate as Cust last year. Not good.

Wow…Five and two-thirds innings from Baltimore starters in the series.

Mazzaro has an interesting delivery — interesting in a good, non-peculiar way. Sort of the clean deliberation of Mulder + the compactness of Hudson.

The Orioles might be better off with Bell, Barksdale and Stanfield in the 3-4-5 spots in the order. That would be killer.

So, John Shea — still think Eveland would have been a better choice if the team had been in contention?

Balls are going to the right spots late in the game.

It’s nice to have a guy who can just throw it down the middle and gets swings and misses.

Why does Drag me to Hell have a Metascore of 83?

    • monkeyball Jun 7,2009 7:09 pm || Up

Because they’re including healthcare and pension benefits?

Site bandwidth charges divided by the number of videos containing the word “hell”
