If I am reading the subtext correctly, the A’s need to turn the Coliseum into a massive tank to hold two humpback whales before opening day or the planet is doomed.

"Kraut will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no kraut."
Got Plaza level today for Tues 5/25 at the Matt Olsen-themed $28 rate. Which at $8 less per seat from list price is pretty much the same as if I had bought Saturday with the no-fees deal.
"Kraut will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no kraut."
I it too early to doubt Piscotty? I know he hit a home run the other day, but everyone hit in that inning. I was more excited about the jed HR because that means he is strong enough.
It really felt like he couldn’t tell what was a ball or a strike last year. I almost wonder if he needs to get his vision checked and fixed a la Theth Thmith. That flailing first at bat (yes Kershaw, but still) wasn’t encouraging.
Melvin says Jed Lowrie will go into the season as the regular second baseman. "Kind of monitor each and every day thing … We will have coverage there."
We’ll ride Jed until he drops, I guess. There are always a few moves at the bottom of the 40-man at the end of ST. Personally I wouldn’t mind seeing Tony Kemp off. Skye Bolt would be another idea; if he’s traded I hope it’s to a town where German bakeries make some great stollen.
31 in camp including Lowrie, with a 26-man roster this year. We know Fiers is going on the DL, so that leaves 4 more cuts.
Of the position players, sending down Machin and Brown seems clear. Someone said there was some concern about Pinder’s ability to handle SS as a backup, which seems silly because it’s not like Machin is a good fielder (or hitter) either. I don’t see Kemp losing his spot.
And Tom over Brown because Brown can be optioned. (Like many, I am not sold on Piscotty being worth his spot any more, but he is under contract through next year.)
Puk, Irvin, and Jefferies are fighting for that last rotation spot, and all looked good (so far) in their last starts. All three have options left, so any two of them could be optioned. There may be room for a second one as a long man, if you can find another reliever to get rid of. The only obvious candidate is GM’s man Burch Smith, who was injured last year and has not pitched well in the spring. But he is out of options, so could be lost if he doesn’t make the team. Trivino has options, but has looked good this spring. Kolarek hasn’t, but I doubt he would be sent down.
Another possibility would be to start with two of those three in the rotation, with Montas starting on the DL to let his fingernail heal for a little longer.
My issue with Kemp is that they felt like they had to upgrade to La Stella last year, and if/when Jed goes out of service for six weeks I don’t see Kemp being any more acceptable than he was before.
When we told Moreland he was replacing Krush did we specify NOT the Krush that couldn’t hit water if he fell out of a boat? Feel like maybe we should have mentioned it.
In the division it sounds like only the A’s and Astros are going with 5-man rotations. 6-man for the M’s and the Scioscias and a 5-day, 7-man setup for Texas with 3 regular starters and 2 “tandems” (seems like that requires carrying 14 pitchers and I doubt the Rangers have 14 pitchers worthy of a big league job).
I was surprised when Bob said yesterday that there was probably not a long-man spot for the starters who didn’t make the rotation. With Puk still only throwing 45 pitches yesterday, some kind of tandem setup with Jefferies or Irvin would make sense.
No. I thought he might even be out of the running, but then they made it sound like he could win the job if he had a good start yesterday, which he did.
No announcements about final roster coming until Tuesday or Wednesday.
2021 Cactus League play comes to a thrilling conclusion Monday afternoon with the A’s and Royals tied at the top. The Cubs are one game out and would need a win plus losses by those two to force a three-way tie. I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep tonight.
Congrats to the Royals. They can put their Don & Charlie’s Cup next to their World Series trophy. There are a few more games but the A’s look to be a lock for the best run differential in either the Cactus or Grapefruit Leagues.
I can’t get a game to start up in Chrome on the Win10 laptop. I just get the unending loading circle. That’s the best device for me to get a game running and cast to the TV from.
On the same laptop the game loads fine in Edge Chromium, and Edge Chromium allows casting so that’s an OK workaround. On the iMac, with exactly the same browser settings, the game loads fine in Chrome. So it’s not anything like ad blockers or pop-up blockers.
I’m thinking maybe I’m missing some required Chrome plugin on that laptop. Any ideas?

The Astros were originally going to fly directly from Florida to the Bay Area for Opening Day but are now going to stop in Houston first to get players vaccinated through Houston Methodist. Dusty Baker said they'll fly to Oakland on Tuesday night.
Happy Birthday Soaker!
Since you posted ten years ago the 3/30 baseball talent level (if not the likeability) has improved significantly, with almost 80 WAR from Sale, Bregman, and Marisnick.
And somehow we had missed MC Hammer.
Happy Birthday andeux! We were just starting to get used to A’s games at the Coliseum on March 30 but now this is two straight years without.
Yeah, that list was just dismal, it’s much better now.
Speaking of dismal, today is the generally acknowledged official beginning of my long slide through the various levels of decrepitude to eventual oblivion. I hope an A’s World Series Championship or two passes along the way. There were four from 0-30 but then a shutout from 30-60. As to a Cal Rose Bowl appearance, let alone a win…sigh.
It's time for another deep dive showing the differences between the script for an episode of The Simpsons and what actually ended up on the air. Baseball returns this week, so this time it will be the season 3 episode “Homer at the Bat”. pic.twitter.com/DnSLBT5U5k
A's announce all 162 regular-season games will be on TV. All on NBC Sports California except for two on FS1 (April 10 andMay 15) and one on FOX (July 3).
Sean Doolittle is about to do a segment on SiriusXM Phish Radio which will include a guest DJ set. I looked through his tweets and saw that his dog’s name is Fee so there’s one set list guess. I remember when he was showing off his Phish-themed glove last year his wife chimed in that “it should be mango-colored” so that could be another one.

Ballhead mascots are creepy IMO, but if you’re going that route you have to be all-in, like Mr. Met. The Reds motley team has all the worst mascot attributes and no endearing ones
"Kraut will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no kraut."
Sergio Romo got 2.25 M. Doolittle got 1.5 M. If we could have traded Khrush a little bit earlier, Doo would have been in green and gold (again). No doubt in my mind.
Second-tier mortgage companies and stadium naming rights deals: a marriage made in heaven, for some reason (Guaranteed Rate Field, Ameriquest Field, Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse).
loanDepot discloses tonight that the P in park will no longer be capitalized when Marlins Park becomes loanDepot park. (I kid not.) I don't know what they'll do to you if you capitalize the P, but I wouldn't recommend it: https://t.co/5uFyFCGcP3
Eight 11-seeds and eight 16-seeds now make the tournament, and the worst four of each of those have to play-in a few days early for the right to play as “normal” 11/16 seeds in the regular tourney. In essence the worst of the automatic qualifiers (16s), and the worst of the last at-large teams (11s), have to play an extra game in exchange for the right to participate. UCLA was one of those last teams in and had to play Michigan State two days before the real first round game.
The odd start dates were a covid bubble strategy, allowing extra down time between 2nd and 3rd rounds to insulate teams better.
"Kraut will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no kraut."
That was a fun game. Takes me back to two years ago when everyone in Cincinnati was complaining that Mick Cronin could never take a team past the first weekend (I was probably one of those people).
Looking over the list, I see the Eds’ win means the champion will come from west of the Mississippi for only the second time since 1997 (the Beds in 2008). Chapel Hill and Durham have combined for six in that time.
No decision yet on who starts this Saturday? I call BS on that.
No decision on fifth starter yet, per Melvin. If Montas fares OK in sim game and can make his first start, he will likely stay on turn and pitch the first game against the Dodgers.
so, am I wrong thinking that putting this in the bill is a great trade off for republican votes? You can say, well, you want to save RTW? vote yes. It can’t be that easy, yeah?

Federal judge J. Paul Oetken reportedly granted MLB’s motion for a summary judgement on Wednesday, writing that “no reasonable juror could find that MLB’s stated explanation is a pretext for discriminatory motive.”
OK, but what if the jury were made up of other umpires?
The Sharks were never quite that bad, but with the Bay Area novelty factor I watched a fair number of their games in the Cow Palace years. Their second year: 11-71-2 with a 218-414 deficit in goals. The ice seemed to tilt downhill towards the Sharks’ goalie even when they weren’t on the penalty kill. Also, any time I see the name “Matt Gaetz” I think of Link Gaetz, who was briefly the team thug and got in some good fights.
Yeah the attitude about expansion in the era the Sharks were born was that new teams should feel lucky to be the dregs of the league for at least five years.
"Kraut will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no kraut."
Wasn’t there some weirdness with that where the Sharks got half their roster from the North Stars, in compensation for the North Stars not relocating to San Jose?
And it was ironic because the Cleveland Barons had been merged into the North Stars. The Barons had moved from Oakland, where they had been the Oakland Seals and then, when Charlie Finley bought them, the California Golden Seals, complete with green and gold uniforms. I went to a few Seals games in the Coliseum Arena when I was a kid, but that was only mildly interesting compared to the championship baseball team next door.
These Sabres aren’t as bad as that team by any measure (overall record, streaks, goal ratio).
But they are impressively bad for an established team that has picked near the top of the draft for most of the last decade, and added a recent MVP last offseason. Being without their best player recently hasn’t helped.
Then tonight’s game was nationally televised, and they whupped the Flyers.
Pick him up at the deadline when this relationship has completely deteriorated and the Mets are 12 games out.
As the hours melt away, star shortstop Francisco Lindor and the New York Mets are no closer to a contract extension, sources tell ESPN. No new discussions. No workshopping proposals. Just a staring contest between the star and the organization with a self-imposed deadline near.
Sure.
I’m not sure how wise it was for Semien to take a 1-year deal, even in the depressed pandemic market.
If no one signs an extension in advance, he could be the 5th- or 6th-best SS on the market next year (Lindor, Seager, Correa, Story, Baez).
Longtime A's equipment manager Steve Vucinich announces on A's Cast that he will be retiring after spring training in 2022. This 2021 season will be his 54th and his last with the club.

Ahhhgh, just opened the complaint and I went to high school with one of the lawyers…Some select crazy bits:
-The damages section starts with a bible quote.
-4.5 pages of the complaint are taken up by a single block quote from a Supreme Court case.
-The alleged harms include “spiritual injury to her soul” and ” injury to spiritual solace.”
“DEFENDANTS, and each of them, are liable for an amount of money to balance these logarithmically increasing permanent harms. $12,000,000.00 will only tip the scale in the direction of injustice. In the spirit of compromise, this amount is the demand that any reasonable jury will award as the price for violating MS. COLLINS’ historic, paradigm shifting, Fourteenth Amendment Rights of the United States Constitution.”
“DEFENDANTS are more concerned with sucking the political sap generated by the displaced legitimate hurt feelings of only one of many victims of American racism than being also concerned with protecting Black and Latino children.”
Oh no. You do not want x to be zero. In fact that might be (literally!) the last thing you would want.
Because log is only defined (as a real function) for x > 0, so the first part of what I wrote isn’t even defined when x is zero (or negative).
Well, (you are surely thinking) what if we think of log as a complex function instead. And yes, you are correct, there is in fact an analytic continuation of log to the complex plane. Except it is still undefined at 0, in fact, now it has a singularity (and not just any singularity, but an essential singularity) there and everywhere else it is a multi-valued function, only well-defined modulo 2πi. (We can make it single-valued by picking a branch, but that introduces a discontinuity along some line, and we don’t really want that either.)
So let’s just agree that x is a positive real number and forget about all that other stuff.
And while I’m being pedantic (always?) your link about the use of * gets some things wrong:
– In the typewritten manuscript shown from 1978, the x is being used not for (scalar) multiplication but for vector cross product. While the former can indeed by indicated by x,*, raised dot, or nothing, some form of x, times sign, or saltire is always used for the latter.
– Related to the “specialized uses” he lists in math, and the later discussion of how high it is placed, this depends on context. Usually as a binary operator (A*B indicating multiplication, or convolution) it should be centered or raised only slightly, but as a unary operator (A* for dual space, complex conjugate, or the other examples he gives) it should be superscripted.
Dear baseball fans of America: If you think the Giants are being too restrictive and don’t want this coming to your ballpark, maybe wear your mask over your nose and mouth rather than over your neck, which too many of you seem to be doing.
Today, the A's selected Reymin Guduan and Jed Lowrie from Las Vegas, optioned Daulton Jefferies and A.J. Puk to their alternate site, placed Mike Fiers and Trevor Rosenthal on the 10-day IL and designated Skye Bolt for assignment.
Rosenthal has right shoulder inflammation, which does not bode well.
Guduan is a bit of a surprise for that spot. He and Deolis Guerra were the two non-roster relievers they were talking up, but Guerra was the one with lots of K’s. Guduan is also out of options, so would have to go through waivers if/when they want to send him back down.
Irvin over Puk and Jefferies maybe also a surprise, but he was the most consistent this spring: 18 K’s, 3 BB, 2 R in 18 innings. Jefferies and Puk both struggled with their control at times.
Bolt was the obvious choice to clear a spot on the 40-man roster, as Soaker had noted.
It reeks of Santiago Casilla, but…do you trust Diekman in that role? I hope Trivino can come back to the form where he would qualify but Opening Night seems premature.
*Sorry, I forgot about Burch Smith, who had one 3-inning save.
Dadgummit, FSU. He and Dean, 54 of the last 60 seasons.
Dadgummit! Roy Williams, legendary coach and wonderful person is hanging it up! We hate to see you go but Godspeed Coach. – RC pic.twitter.com/INC1jgSaq6
I’m very glad Roy is going out on his feet. He’s been prone to weird vertigo-like spells on the sidelines which had me worried.
Three Tar Heels championship teams during his tenure, and he brought the program back from the grim depths of the Matt Dougherty era. And by accounts a nice guy as well.
"Kraut will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no kraut."
A lot of the top college coaches have a very self-important vibe that is off-putting. Roy’s vibe was more “we’re having a great time playing some basketball, what a great job!” which I appreciated.
I lived in the Triangle during the end Dougherty Debacle, and it almost felt like Ol’ Roy was being bullied into taking the UNC job. It felt at the time like he didn’t really want to come back but also didn’t want to let down Dean. I remember exactly where I was sitting when Roy said “I don’t give a shit about North Carolina” to a CBS reporter who shoved a mic in his face after Kansas lost in the Final Four.
He was pressured to come back to Chapel Hill, in the sense that his hometown/basketball family was vocal that he was really wanted back, and needed. It his lifelong dream, he’d already (agonizingly) turned down the job a few years prior out of loyalty to KU’s kids, and this was his second chance. That quote was a product of a bullshit sideline ambush which, without checking, must’ve been Jim Gray.
"Kraut will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no kraut."
Meanwhile Justin Turner is picking up where he left off last season
Cody Bellinger just hit a home run with a man on first, but he passed Justin Turner on the base path. So he hit a ball over the fence that counts as an out and an RBI single. pic.twitter.com/8KV3LHQ6sw
The Rangers have a new ballpark to sell but the team is going to be unwatchable. They remind me of the Astros when they first came in to the American League.
In addition to the horror show that is the Texas pitching, Ed Hickox, who is umpiring at first base in this game, takes the early lead with 3 calls overturned.
These Bally Sports broadcasts have a score ribbon along the entire bottom the screen that is constantly rotating the scores of other games (including other sports) right next to the score and status of the game you’re watching. I hate it.
Woof.

not a basketball expert buy going on a negative 11 point run to start the half is bad, yeah?
With Cincinnati’s basketball team imploding, my wife’s tournament allegiance has shifted to the Ed’s on account of Mick Cronin nostalgia.
Rooting for the Ed’s in the Rose Bowl vs Michigan Tuesday. Really I’m jumping on the unlikely Pac-12 bandwagon across the board.
This sounds like a dumb stunt by Scioscia that could backfire with a dumb injury.
I agree, but he has to try it. Imagine a play in game with him with full rest. What is a scioscia to do?
Also, I am not sure he has the same value if he can’t bat, the three days around his pitching.
Maybe just a blister.

Definitely more garbage. Probably more popular, because they go hard for the toxic bro market.
great.
I suspect the second coming of Fernando Rodney won’t be #3 on that list for very long.
Cactus League finale under way. I will miss young Dom on the pxp.
Manaea WoT

But how great does it feel?
Happy birthdays, both of yous!

In other Doo news:
Ballhead mascots are creepy IMO, but if you’re going that route you have to be all-in, like Mr. Met. The Reds motley team has all the worst mascot attributes and no endearing ones
Sergio Romo got 2.25 M. Doolittle got 1.5 M. If we could have traded Khrush a little bit earlier, Doo would have been in green and gold (again). No doubt in my mind.
The addition of a phanatic clone is icing on a very dumb cake
His setlist with Youtube links to those versions. Two from the same tour and he was over 11 years old for only one of them. No Rickrolls, I promise.
1. Fee 2011-06-05 Cincinnati (audience recording; video starts around 0:50)
2. Chalk Dust Torture 1994-11-16 Ann Arbor (A Live One) (Walk-on music with the Nationals last year)
3. Fluffhead 1994-6-22 Columbus OH (Live Phish 10)
4. Punch You in the Eye 1997-11-21 Hampton (Hampton/Winston-Salem ’97)
5. Divided Sky 1994-06-18 Chicago (Chicago ’94)
He said he would probably pick something from a Cincinnati show or “Cincinnati-related” (Dayton?) for this year’s walk-on music.
Lots of people seem to prefer the post-2000 jams, but I still dig those mid-90s shows.
I always thought CDT and Tweezer would both make good walk-on music, with their opening guitar riffs. Stash might work too.
Lots of good funk options from Cincinnati (and Dayton). Reflection Eternal would be a good hip-hop choice. I just hope he doesn’t pick Walk The Moon.
I am not watching my college, but I do tune into the women’s games to mess up the ratings for the NCAA.
The Batgirls are having a pretty cool comeback
The cardinals forgot how to shoot and the cardinal remembered.
Wooooooooo!!!!!!!
Second-tier mortgage companies and stadium naming rights deals: a marriage made in heaven, for some reason (Guaranteed Rate Field, Ameriquest Field, Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse).
They do it to taunt the locals actually paying the stadium mortgage.
fine. I turned it on
This pleases me.
Can I ask a question? What is the first 4? I don’t want that in my browser history
Four play-in games to get into the “real” tournament of 64 teams. A way they slightly expanded the tournament like 10 years ago.
The bubble teams? They don’t play into the 16 seed?
Is that why the tournament didn’t start on thursday?
Eight 11-seeds and eight 16-seeds now make the tournament, and the worst four of each of those have to play-in a few days early for the right to play as “normal” 11/16 seeds in the regular tourney. In essence the worst of the automatic qualifiers (16s), and the worst of the last at-large teams (11s), have to play an extra game in exchange for the right to participate. UCLA was one of those last teams in and had to play Michigan State two days before the real first round game.
The odd start dates were a covid bubble strategy, allowing extra down time between 2nd and 3rd rounds to insulate teams better.
Michigan was the only team in the eastern time zone to even make the Elite Eight this year. And they’re culturally midwestern anyway.
Awesome. The players must be excited by their share of that.
It’s just such a grotesque indefensible system. Even someone as grotesque as Brett Kavanaugh finds it indefensible.
No decision yet on who starts this Saturday? I call BS on that.
so, still carrying puk, jeffries and irvin?
so, am I wrong thinking that putting this in the bill is a great trade off for republican votes? You can say, well, you want to save RTW? vote yes. It can’t be that easy, yeah?
Angel Hernandez lost his lawsuit against MLB
OK, but what if the jury were made up of other umpires?
Sabres!
(Suck it, Gritty.)
Is Buffalo threatening not to be the worst team in NHL history?
I am so excited for A’s content that I turned on Townie’s livecast for three whole minutes until he told Fosse he was the face of the franchise.
Pick him up at the deadline when this relationship has completely deteriorated and the Mets are 12 games out.
Sure.
I’m not sure how wise it was for Semien to take a 1-year deal, even in the depressed pandemic market.
If no one signs an extension in advance, he could be the 5th- or 6th-best SS on the market next year (Lindor, Seager, Correa, Story, Baez).
But if he succeeds at 2B and stays there all season, the competition isn’t as stiff.
Reportedly they have agreed on $341 M / 10 years.
That guy has known everyone in baseball for my whole life. I’m sure he’ll get many rocking chairs and golf clubs on the farewell tour.
Sigh…
ah. i think i’m finally at yes yes yes with this tweet.
That is so very bonkers.
what is blowing my mind is her hardcore DSA/Bernie bro support when she is married to and a consulting with her capital D developer husband. SHe is getting $100K consulting fees and he has projects that are in the billions including on being voted on tomorrow for a high rise around the transbay terminal
She is the epitome of insider
Any time your complaint calls something a BIG LIE in all caps, you’re winning as a lawyer. I’m pretty sure that’s in the FRCP somewhere…
Logarithmically?
Doesn’t “logarithmically increasing” mean that the harms are barely increasing at all? It’s literally the inverse of “exponentially increasing”.
It’s a math word, so sounds scary. We’re lawyers so that’s about all we know.
what’s your definition of literally here?
exp(log(x)) = log(exp(x)) = x
i want x to be zero just so i don’t have to do the math.
also, needs moar saltire.
I met this guy
And he looked like might have been
A hat check clerk at an ice rink
Which, in fact, he turned out to be
And I said
Oh boy
Right again
mills alumna.
The fact that I thoroughly enjoyed this probably means that I don’t have a life
I’m swooning right along with you.
Tagline?
i want what i want.
still not doing the math.
Usually as a binary operator (A*B indicating multiplication, or convolution) it should be centered or raised only slightly, but as a unary operator (A* for dual space, complex conjugate, or the other examples he gives) it should be superscripted.
double daggers to my heart.
(that author may appreciate your fact check. maybe write to them?)
i just read if for the typefaces.
I hope it wasn’t the guys with aol email and 5 digit bar numbers
It’s good to have moments that make me feel superior to other lawyers. This definitely qualifies.
The best part is that everyone’s first reaction was surely that its a cruel april fools joke.
They were supposed to play on Opening Day 2020, too, weren’t they?
This is what every business should do. Fans will have to show proof of vaccination or a recent negative covid test in order to attend Giants games.
Dear baseball fans of America: If you think the Giants are being too restrictive and don’t want this coming to your ballpark, maybe wear your mask over your nose and mouth rather than over your neck, which too many of you seem to be doing.
And so it starts. Who do we suppose to closethe rest of the season in the meanwhile?
Saves in 2020 by current members of the bullpen:
Sergio Romo: 5
Adam Kolarek: 1
Everybody else: 0*
It reeks of Santiago Casilla, but…do you trust Diekman in that role? I hope Trivino can come back to the form where he would qualify but Opening Night seems premature.
*Sorry, I forgot about Burch Smith, who had one 3-inning save.
No.
Also, if it’s Diekman, it means Kolarek is pitching in some high-leverage situations.
Ka’ai Tom fluff piece.
Hawaiian guys can be gritty, right?
I am looking forward to the Tom kemp laureano outfield. All taller than me, but not by much
Dadgummit, FSU. He and Dean, 54 of the last 60 seasons.
One of my favorite coaches. Godspeed.
Do not like seeing Marcus in powder blue.
I stopped by the Coliseum this morning (just as a passenger).
Felt like there should have been a grill set up right around here.
OK this got my feels going. I’ve always said the Opening Day parking lot in Oakland is the best party in MLB, period.
Gameday is working on things
Boy the Yankees fans sure don’t get the covid protocols
Also note to TV directors, don’t show the row of 4 boomers without a mask in sight
Judge was against the fence along the 1B line after a catch and there were maskless bros back-slapping him .
The Rangers and Royals look good for comedy this season.
Meanwhile Justin Turner is picking up where he left off last season
RTT
They’ll score more than Syracuse
Somehow the schedule prevents the A’s from getting any licks against this horrifying Rangers pitching staff until June 21.
24 runs
30 hits
17 walks + 3 HBP
3 Rangers errors
14 pitchers threw 402 pitches (TEX 200, KC 202)
4 hours, 26 minutes
Only 161 to go!
LOL
Turner keeps making great decisions
These Bally Sports broadcasts have a score ribbon along the entire bottom the screen that is constantly rotating the scores of other games (including other sports) right next to the score and status of the game you’re watching. I hate it.
But how else can I keep track of my parlay?
Yeah, that flips about every 4 seconds which is way too often. I may measure out a piece of cardboard to take care of that.
No Piscotty, but pinder. I think its a matchup thing?
I guess. I hope Tom gets some starts against all the RHP we are facing.
Excellent A’s DJ move as the Astros take field for intros to the tune of Ridin.
Wow, MLB announced moving the all star game. Did not see that coming.
To Oakland?!?!
Oh wait, it’s April 2 now…
That’s awesome.
Target Field does not seem a likely beneficiary.
