A new thread as we head into the heart of Cactus League season. We have a Glen/Dallas telecast tonight and an election tomorrow to juice up the comment count.
I’ll be driving down on Thursday for a few in-person games, my first in Arizona since the dawn of the Billy Butler Era in 2015. First game is inside a Chipotle with the road half of a split squad vs. the Clevelands on Friday.
I’ll do my best not to get anybody hurt. Let’s go Oakland!
Treacherous chasms of half-truth and despair. -- Ken Korach
I mean, still, the guy is a total tool. But something in his very excellent college got through to him
I could tell the end was finally coming for Chris Matthews, but I did not expect him to up and quit on the air at the beginning of his show seemingly without warning to the producers. Either way, good riddance.
so happy he is gone.
“The pitchers are ahead of the hitters.”
Very sharp first inning for Frankie, lost his control a little in the 2nd but no harm.
is there a reason he isn’t the opening day starter? Montas-Manaea-Fiers-Luzardo-Puk?
Lou giving himself some valuable practice working out of jams.
He’ll be more successful against teams that have Josh Phegley batting in the middle of the lineup.
Phegley doing more to help his former team than his current team tonight, as one might expect.
I gotta brag about milo. He had a really good tournament this weekend 5-7 2 2b, 1 3b, 2 bb. but the thing that really set him apart was during the PA that ended in his last walk of the weekend, the second pitch of the AB grazed his arm, the ball got by the catcher and a run scored from third. the umpire asked his if he got hit and he said “i don’t know”
You don’t have to tell the umpire a damn thing,
true and a parent fail. But he does know “Am I free to leave?, I want to talk to a lawyer, I want to talk to my dad”
Fun interview with Pinder, he’s like a wise old vet now. Also Oly plays golf right handed and crushes.
I could only watch that trout clip once, enough bro energy to power a potato clock
Bottom 8 of a random Monday night spring training game and the wheels come off the Cubbies defense.
I cannot figure this guy out
total non-sequitur:
i’ve only seen two types of candidate-supporting hats in the wild. shocker, one’s not even a democrat.
Only white people can be working class voters in America, Ed. Ask any politician or pundit who dislikes Democrats.
Side note: We may end up looking back at this article about Bernie having to be talked down from primarying Obama as a pivotal moment in this campaign. That was real bad for him ahead of South Carolina, especially after he fairly blantantly lied saying he never considered it. The story also looks like an Obama-Reid “break glass in case of emergency” leak to stymie Sanders at a key moment, which is pretty interesting in and of itself.
Do you think that a significant number of SC voters were really aware of that story, as opposed to the Clybourn endorsement giving Biden his boost?
No way of knowing, but I bet it filtered down, especially to the people Biden needed to organize for him. Clyburn was certainly more important though.
And now Sanders is running a Bloombergesque ad with him and Obama. They get the problem now, but a lot of the damage is done.
(Note: I do not want the cult of Reagan recreated in the Democratic Party with Obama, but presidential campaigns shouldn’t be stupid about that sort of thing if they want to win.)
Ice Hockey: Not even once
While you all are watching the Bernie-Biden returns roll in tonight, I’ll be keeping an eye on Burr-Jefferson. (I won the Hamilton lottery.)
OMG! I entered but didn’t win. I enter the regular lottery pretty much every day and never win!
I was so excited! My seats were close to the middle of the house, about eight rows from the stage. Not bad for $10.
NFL owners are the worst people.
Oh yeah, cool. Shoulder injuries are usually nothing to worry about.
Was kinda cool to see Logan Morrison deliver an RBI last night. Squared it up too.
Wrong Logan, son.
So you’re saying I screwed un Logan’s Run. Probably time for termination.

Mateo, leading off, easily beats out an infield single on a ground ball in the hole, easily beats a good throw to second on a steal attempt, goes to third on a ground ball, then easily scores on a check-swing tapper to the mound.
Some useful skills there.
Have any of the Hydra heads at 2B moved away from the pack (in any direction) yet? Kemp seems a given but it doesnt seem like any of the others have done much that remember-maybe this sequence above and Barreto had a hit last night…
Two-run bloop single for Mateo, then tags up from first to second on a fly ball to left, making it easily…
My impression has been that Barreto has the inside track, but not by that much. I wonder if they will think about carrying 14 non-pitchers for a while to keep them both (and Machin) a little longer.
Hard single the other way for Mateo to lead off the inning, pickoff throw gets away, first baseman lands on Mateo, he still gets up and runs all the way to third, beating a good throw…
Snacks for President
Over at the Athletic, Posnanski has Rickey at 24 on his list of the 100 greatest all-time.
Way too low, but a really fun read.
Split Rickey in half and you’ll have two 24th greatest players of all time.
But pay him like Gallego and you’ll just have another crappy third base coach.
The numbers aren’t really rankings. Trout was 27, Jackie 42, Joe D 56. Hence Rickey 24.
Lefty Grove at 22
Also, since I’m catching up on it now, Jimmie Foxx at 33 and Reggie at 59
Long RBI double off the top of the wall for Heim, who is now hitting .467 for the spring.
It starts with the delivery – there’s something very Fuentes-like about McFarland.
Polls close in Virginia in a few minutes. According to CNN ecit polls almost half of voters there say they only decided in past few days, which should bode well for Biden.
Looking forward to 8 more months (or is that years?) of hearing about how every other candidate’s decision to run, stay in, or drop out is part of a DNC conspiracy against Bernie and his god-given right to be the only progressive in a field with 7 moderates splitting the vote so he and his 30% plurality can win the nomination of a party he has spent his entire career attacking.
Bernie supporters love to mock the “he’s not even a Democrat” criticism, but it actually is a bit of a problem when you are trying to win the nomination of that party! Bernie could have changed his registration, much like he could not have doubled down on the Castro thing, and not written off the South again, but he’s too stubborn.
Agreed. I am obviously more ok than most here with backing Bernie as the candidate if it works out that way. And I still don’t necessarily buy the conventional wisdom on his electability (tho Florida is worrisome). But if he simply refuses to try and say electable things in a general election, that’s a real fucking problem.
I ok with backing bernie or biden or or or
Bernie didn’t spend years funneling money from his easy re elections to down ballot and other dems. that’s why biden and HRC get other pos to back them. He (likely, I actually don’t know) did the bare minimum tithing to the DNC/DCCC. He isn’t going to get rank and file until he does that.
He and his supporters don’t know or care, its crazymakikng
Absolutely. Four years ago, they acted like Hilary had cheated by putting in the hard work of building a coalition. Four years later, same bullshit against a weaker opponent. Epic fail of politics doing.
The night before what is sure looking like the Waterloo for his five-year campaign, Bernie is doing a Fox News event. Gross.
Perhaps Glenn Greenwald suggested it.
i finally understand the word problematic.
Instead of Happy Birthday to measure the requisite proper hand washing time I’ve started signing I Wanna Be Sedated.
My old neighbor uses “Du Hast”.
The first chorus of “Meet the Mets”. The whole song is also good for brushing your teeth.
American Samoa gets Bloomberg on the delegate board. And Tulsi Gabbard!
I take some solace in Shahid Buttar getting whupped, AGAIN
So Bloomberg and Warren drop out tomorrow?
Now that Biden is in the lead, yes.
I’m seriously fucking afraid for this country.
Thanks, and go As.
Certainly Warren, coming in third in your own home state ought to be all the proof you need. She is left in a pretty good bargaining position though, and I expect she won’t endorse anyone else until the convention. For Bloomberg I suppose it depends how much more money he wants to throw away first.
Biden is a much stronger candidate today than he was last year, because Democrat voters have been forced to reconcile themselves to him. When he’s named the nominee we may look back and say the tough primaries really helped him.
I kind of feel the same way, but fear he could still fk it up.
The VP choice, as you guys said, is big now. Needs to be someone more inspirational, younger (so not Warren) and not a white dude. Basically not Joe Lieberman.
AOC! (I kid)
Without thinking two seconds about who this might include, they will occupy a Venn diagram of 1) woman or person of color, 2) incumbent or recent Gov or Sen, 3) from Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania or Florida.
Interesting that in 2028, the first presidential she will be eligible for, AOC will be the same age Pete Buttigieg is now. I dismissed the latter out of hand because he just seemed way too young and inexperienced for the job. Not sure I’ll feel that way about AOC in eight years.
She is really positioning herself well, whether purposefully or not. She came in spitting fire, and deferred to Pelosi against her constituents (not the Brox livers, but the bernie bros). She is not firing at HR Clinton and Warren.
Really excellent work. she is a natural
Biden is going to need her on the trail in the general if he is the nominee. I bet she’ll deliver, and probably extract some policy wins in the process. Meanwhile, she’ll always be a hero to the Sanders wing for endorsing him right after the heart attack, and she has been building bridges to Warren people while other Sanders people have not. It’s all very impressive.
Julian Castro?
interesting.Castro has been going hard as a surrogate for warren. good unity choice. Wasan Obama person.
Biden has been saying “Black woman” so much you think he is trying to recruit Stacy abrams or Kamala harris. But like Castro, they are not fromswing states.
Stacy Abrams
My top choice.
I’m hoping for Val Demings.
I was just looking at her bio, she could be a good choice.
Also a good choice.
Cool
swear to god if it’s klobberchard…
yes. amy no
Setting aside the politics of it, I find it hard to imagine that Biden, who is known for being a great and caring boss, would pick a binder-thrower to serve under him.
Another approach: Liberals wouldn’t like Charlie Crist, who missed the “person of color” check box too, but that would be a way to appeal to Florida and Republicans who hold their nose when they vote for Trump.
I said NOT Joe Lieberman.
Heh, I knew I’d have to duck some brickbats for that one. I’m taking the “anybody but Trump” liberal vote literally and trying to appeal to enough doctorK’s, who are plentiful, to steal enough states to win.
Hooray for the doctorKs!
(Although I should’ve posted this in another thread.)
hey-o!
Demings! From Jacksonville, rose out of poverty to become Orlando police chief, elected to Congress in 2016 while Trump was winning the state, one of the standouts from the impeachment proceedings.
Biden’s biggest selling point is he was Obama’s VP.
I couldn’t be more disheartened after today. We, as a country, have been pulled so fucking far to the right it’s incredible.
I’m legit worried for my kids.
Thanks, and go As.
Biden is no further right than Bill Clinton and more or less within the same narrow band that Obama and Hillary occupy. Which doesn’t change how strongly I agree with your last two sentences.
I have two weeks until the Ohio primary, so we’ll see what happens, but if it was held today I would probably vote Bernie. (I wanted to vote Warren, but as of now that doesn’t seem viable.) But that said, I don’t see how a Biden presidency is anything like a disaster.
I find it endlessly frustrating that Bernie pushes policy in a really good direction, but in the most self-defeating way possible. He is out there saying that electing him would result in Medicare for All, which is a blatant lie. But the potential path to Medicare for All, or some sort of working healthcare system, is through getting the whole Democratic party on board and pulling — he is sort of accomplishing this, but might be doing better without accusing well-meaning moderates of being corporate shills.
The disaster scenario (and maybe this is what you were referring to) is a Trump re-election, and I am plenty scared about Biden’s electability. I am also scared about Bernie’s electability, so it’s a tough choice. In the end, I just toss up my hands on the electability question and it’s a balance between Bernie’s better policy plans / instincts vs the problem that he seems like someone who would be bad at being president.
The CUellar-Cisneros race is telling
The A’s are no longer applying the 50% A’s Access discount to concessions sold by vendors. “We cannot consistently deliver the experience you deserve…”
We refuse to improve our process so just give us more money!
Where is this from? It’s still advertised on the website.
Email yesterday to members. Supposedly they have also brought in someone to make the concourse purchasing experience more efficient, but I’ll believe that when I see it.
Interesting also that they’ve put an early April deadline on new Access memberships. I wonder if that means they’ve reached whatever max Treehouse capacity they think they can allow, or perhaps the most discounts they think they can afford.
Does that include all concessions/vendors, or are some in-house and covered and others 3rd party/not covered? Specifically beer …
Doesn’t say specifically:
Also:
Ah – so it’s only for in-seat vendors. That makes much more sense.
So what the hell is going on here exactly?
Jed! would be having a pretty solid career if he spent the whole time in Oakland. He’s getting a nice chunk of change to do nothing for the Mets though.
Heads-up …
The front row seats package came with a free luxury box, which I snagged for March 31st for people coming to an upcoming collaboration meeting at Berkeley Lab. It is now possible that we will be holding this meeting entirely remotely; if so I’ll have an empty 18-person box to fill. Anyone (provisionally) interested?
Those LOC meetings must be just awesome
Peachy beyond your wildest Georgian dreams.
That’s a Free Parking Tuesday! And Cesar Chavez day! Count me (& probably ms.s) in if it happens.
yes.
Heck yeah! And my friend Bob would most likely be excited to attend as well (but only if other FKers don’t want the spot).
The in-person meeting is definitely cancelled, so the box is indeed open.
So far I have 2 ptbnls, 2 sslingers, 2 batgirls and a future ed. Plenty of room for more.
I would like to bring another. I’ll let you know if I want 2 extras (Room pending)

2-3 Future Ed
2 AV
2 andeux
3 Glorious Mundy
2 FreeSeatUpgrade
Unfortunately these are printed tickets only. Tailgating before going in would let me hand them on to you and sidestep the in-box catering restrictions, or I can leave them for people at will-call.
I’m super excited! Lemme know where the tailgate is!
I was checking the Coliseum Arena schedule for possible co-existing events with A’s games (usually concerts). There’s a minor league arena football team now? Marshawn Lynch is listed as a co-owner. Wiki also says Scott McKibben is the team president; not sure if that last bit of information is up to date.
The Panthers are playing a mostly Saturday night schedule, with 6:05 games when the A’s play at 1:05. There is one direct conflict with the A’s, though, on June 20 (A’s-Astros at 5:15, Panthers-Green Bay Blizzard at 6:05).
Early season A’s night game/concert conflicts:
Sat. April 11 (Yankees): “LIT AF Tour Hosted by Martin Lawrence with DeRay Davis, Rickey Smiley and Bruce Bruce”
Fri. May 8 (Blue Jays): “The Millenium Tour 2020: Omarion-Bow Wow Face Off with Special Guest Ashanti” (and some other acts)
Sat. May 23 (Angels): Alejandro Fernández ‘HECHO EN MÉXICO’ WORLD TOUR with Special Guest Christian Nodal
Pray for Omarion!

I can only assume he said the exact opposite yesterday.
Reminds me of one of my all time favorite monkeyball comments from the old country (which I was able to find because I remembered it used the word “rustbucket”)
That was funny
Another one of these joints
There are two Houston-Arlington road trips before the end of May, while the weather is still acceptable. Consecutive A’s series in Texas aren’t unheard of but not common either. I don’t do first-year ballparks though (except, one hopes, Oakland) and wasn’t going for either one of those even before the notion of attending an Astros home game turned my stomach.
Is there a ground rule for “fair ball hits video board”?
Are they parking blimps in that thing?
by bringing this, i am now your friend with after benefits.
This is really cool, I had to save that image then embiggen it to read. Apparently if I attend all 82 games in the View Level they’re paying me $9 plus two beers a game. My retirement plan is shaping up.
sorta?
i guess it’s a save by spending model.
BTW, Kawahara is now a second Chron beat writer for the A’s.
I don’t know if I should be relieved that the Sunnyvale DPS is on the ball, or worried about the other nutjobs they haven’t caught yet.
Someone should tell Chapman that this is only spring training and he doesn’t have to go into the stands trying to catch foul balls.
Opposite field homer off Buehler. Chapman’s ready.
Fiers also looks ready.
Daniel Gossett is a longhair now.
Grant Holmes makes him look like a Marine though.
The visiting clubhouse manager? Was he helping the Angels’ opponents grease the ball?
He’s done the job since 1990. I’d like to imagine he has secretly hated the Angels all those years.
Which of us hasn’t?
Secretly?
I haven’t told my doctor.
Wonderful.
Nurse Upgrade tells me they’re having difficult discussions, not yet resolved, about how they’ll handle “code” situations for COVID-19 patients in ICU. Typically codes are all hands on deck, very messy interventions when a pt is literally about to die. Trying to limit # of staff and taking time to fully gear up with PPE is exactly the opposite of the usual code response protocol.
Yay baseball! On a gorgeous warm day with a Kilt Lifter in the cupholder. Even looking at the lineup board and seeing that Paul FKing Blackburn is the starting pitcher doesn’t faze me in the least.
In a spring training first for me it’s Shane Bieber Bobblehead Day at Goodyear Ballpark.
Enjoy not springing forward (then forgetting once you’re back).
Springing forward was this morning crossing the Colorado after last night’s stay in Blythe. Good things about Blythe were: 1. the liquor store had bombers of Lagunitas Maximus; 2. it isn’t July when Blythe sometimes gets its name in the paper under “Nation’s High Temperature”; 3. the chilaquiles this morning were cheap and very good.
Plus some excellent highway miles to get to there from Tahoe.
I’m amused that Fowler had to ride the bus all the way over here on a split squad day and isn’t even in the starting lineup. Talk about knowing where you stand.
If Blackburn is working on Pitching To Loud Contact he’s having a terrific day.
if its any consolation, manaea is also working on things
So, I just opened a box sent to me from one of our manufacturing sites in China. To my consternation, at the bottom of the box was a used face mask, of the sort worn by people in cleanrooms.
I’m trying to convince myself that (cough cough) there’s nothing (sneeze) to worry about (shivers from the chills).
With the caveat that there’s still a lot we don’t know about this novel coronavirus, I am told that there’s no known flu-type virus that can live more than 24 hours outside a body. More typically it’s like 2-3 hours.
not saying that i’m an alarmist on this, but when i get home these days it’s been like that shower scene in silkwood.
so grain of salt.

[asks central services to deliver new aluminum desk]
Somebody apparently named Jason Krizan, not on my roster nor in my memory bank (normal for a split squad day), just homered to tie the game
VICTORY. Fowler’s valiant attempt at an inning-ending GIDP failed when the throw to first got away and #85 scored the go-ahead run from second base.
I love a good wager, and I’ll get mad at a bad beat like many would. But I’ve never threatened to behead the family of the athlete who let me down, like Parlay Patz did. Yikes. Apparently Mrs. Liam Hendriks is on the list of victims.
Side note: parlays are especially dumb bets.
It’s a sign of a well functioning administration when they Friday night news dump a new Chief of Staff, right?
Or maybe they just tossed it out in desperation to distract from the big guy going to the CDC in a campaign hat and saying he wants to leave the people on the cruise ship because if they don’t touch land they somehow don’t count in the infected number?
Oh cool, the head of the CDC who kissed Trump’s ass today is this guy:
this kid, he just went flying, landed over there and walked back home to his family. how are his family?
deceased sir.
like i was saying, he just landed over there and walked back. ok now let’s go see some other stuff.
Oh my god, this really happened. And the spirally tornado hand motions. Jesus.
Fun story: my niece is about the marry the son of Meadows’ recent chief of staff. The fundamentalist one, not the harrassy one. Still, yikes. I RSVP’d no, probably to everyone’s benefit.
You should go, just in case there are opportunities for right wing kremlinology like this:
Odd that I see this story at The Guardian, and not our local media.
Steph Klay and Kerr with Gabby Giffords at East Oakland Peace walk Friday. Homicides down 44% over ten years. Try covering the good Oakland news too, eh?
I’m Row 3 directly behind home plate today. Should be fine Luzardo viewing from here. M’s are televising, I’m wearing a navy blue swoosh visor. Hi! It’s another perfect day.
its on root for you MLB.TV subscribers
Jerry DiPoto is one row in front of me and two seats to my right, if anybody wants me to pass on a trade proposal.
they have mallax smith mic’d up
Probably a partially bleeped “I ain’t never gonna hit Luzardo’s fastball.”
they knew enough to cut it off for the AB
10 outs, 8 Ks
lots of empty seats around him
And now he and his wife are gone. His phone didn’t ring once, to my disappointment.
Looks like you could FSU a couple of rows now without trouble.
OK.
Well done
Row 3 was much better than Row 1. From Row 1 pretty much all you see is the umpire’s rear end.
I see you both.
where’d he go?
Mr. DiPoto, wouldn’t Dustin Fowler be a fine acquisition for your crappy ball club?
Nick Allen homer!
Not just a glove man!
He is a wee one though.
little nicky …Allen
He added a double. I’m ready to declare him Shortstop Altuve.
Two walks plus a two-run single for Machin, now batting .320. This guy is definitely making the team.
Can’t reply on mobile, but MacFarland = Fuentes is an excellent call.
You’re into audiobooks, right? If I’m remembering correctly, I have a recommendation. I’m about 3/4 through Bad Blood right now and it is addicting. It’s been out awhile, so you’ve maybe read it.
That’s been on my list. I’ve read excerpts and it’s all incredible.
Just when I think the fraud can’t get any fraudier, they surprise me!
I have been wanting to read this
T.J. McVeryFar-land.
But we dont have a manager to get rid of. So MacFarland can go ahead and exit.
Potential pick off rule change is garbage. Also, Rickey wouldve stole 200 bases a year.
I gather Collin Cowgill has no other career options. Must be AAA journeyman, or live in his car.
Doctor K bait
All of these colleges must have amazing career service offices
Noisy and Fowler packing up their lockers according to SuSlu. Guess thats a bit of good news for The Machine.
Today being my only game in Mesa, I came over early and walked down the street to the Lew Wolff Training Complex, but it was dead quiet. I guess they get Sunday morning off. I was expecting at least some minor leaguers getting swings against a pitching machine.
A’s games today and tomorrow night, then on a plane to Florida on Tuesday, which may be well timed because the weather is supposed to be unusually wet here for a few days starting then.
Good luck. Would take a lot to get me on a place right now.
Elbow room on an airplane is rare any more. I figure it’s more likely now. Anyway the warnings are mostly for those 60 and over and I’m only 58 until the end of this month, so no problema.
And I’m in a busy airport and have yet to see a single person wearing a mask. I guess nobody from the media is flying today.

Any benefit of the doubt I may have been tempted to give Kurt is no longer present.
Isn’t tre turner the guy who had problematic tweets eclipsed by hader’s hate?
I didn’t have any opportunity to try to eavesdrop on any GM conversations today but I did have a chance to offer suggestions to Bob Melvin. “Don’t use T.J. McFarland with a lead, Bob; seriously, just don’t even think about it.”
In spring training the reporters get their few minutes of postgame Q&A with the manager on the field right after victory handshakes are done, so they come down and find an empty seat down there in the ninth inning. Which meant I got a decent look at Alex Coffey. On the short side but not Jane Lee-tiny, and quite pleasantly attractive I would say.
“The [coronavirus] tests are all perfect. Like the letter was perfect. The transcription was perfect. Thus was not as perfect as that, but pretty good.”

Corrupt and infectious. What a party!
No me gusta juegos de la noche. I’m at Camelback Ranch for Reds vs. White Sox, because I FKed up my foot about 10 days ago and knew it wouldn’t quite be ready for a hike today. Was hoping for Sonny Gray but that didn’t happen. Anyway, 5 ballparks in 4 days and we’re squeezing in one last day of great weather, so there are worse ways to spend an afternoon.
Not wishing contagion on anyone, but there is something poetically right about Gasmask Gaetz and Ted “Always Been Toxic” Cruz being quarantined.
CPAC as the petri dish all of them were exposed in is almost too perfect.
It amuses me greatly to think that from now on the famously germophobic Trump is going to treat Matt Gaetz like a plague carrier.
None of these people ever really go away, do they.
Not so long as there are still suckers to fleece. And honestly, if you know the guy selling you snake oil did five years in prison for fraud and you still buy…

Can we have Tim Hill for Mateo now, Royals?
that was a very little league inning. A walk after misplaying a foul pop up, steal and an error, Sac fly to short center where the cut off fails to cut and the bouncing ball is not aught by the catcher despite beating the runner by 5 feet
Rangers C is a little worse than Phegley defensively.

umpires working on things
There have been a few ugly moments in this one.
Santa Clara County just banned events of >1,000 for next three weeks, which includes Sharks 3/19, 21 and 29. We’ll see what’s up with Warriors this Tues and Thurs, NBA’s been talking empty arena games. Opening Day chances…50-50?
I’d say 10-90 for opening day, with the 90 being no fans/no game.
While composing that comment I paused a fair bit and asked myself which way I’d actually bet on that proposition. On one hand, no major US pro sports have yet canceled any games. OTOH, my epidemiological sense tells me an exponential ramp-up is inevitable. I’m still not sure what odds I’d lay on something that has never ever happened before.
I’m not sure Seth Brown really had 15 minutes. He may have to settle for 7 or 8.
There is a certain Cruel Baseball narrative potential here, guy with boatloads of AAA homers gets a glorious two months playoff run in the bigs, can’t go yard, never gets another shot.
Ha, does this have some amusement potential. I’d say bring in Hendriks to close but he’s likely in some bar.
Ssh, no one talk to….those five AAAA guys down in the pen.
Damnit #70!
That particular Cactus League memory will have to wait. I’ll settle for closing out an undefeated 4-0 trip.
My town is going to hell.
Does anyone who watched the game last night have any clue what those Johnny Bench ads for Blue Emu were about? I don’t want to google it.
