Don and Joan notwithstanding, this was the first episode in a while that bored me.

There was something a little too spelled-out about this episode.  The themes weren’t just obvious; they had to be emphasized by the dialogue, in case we were all too slow to get it.

There was a plot development that was, uh, difficult to swallow on tonight’s episode.

Well, it was kind of slow until the shootout.  Oops, wrong show.
