Kennedy, Cust, Holliday, Giambi, Sweeney, Cabrera, Powell, Hannahan, Braden

Cabrera’s actually looked pretty good on both sides since his “I suck” moment.

Seriously, though, Bob — you play the infield in, I’m comin’ after you and a whoooooooooole bunch of drifters.

My god those camo unis are awful. I like the idea of them, and how the Padres link up to the (putative/majoritarian/vocal-but-powerful-minoritarian/media-and-PR-stuck-in-1966) SD community with ’em, but … fucking ugly.

My god, Monkey, have you scared everyone else off or what? Oh, wait, the A’s played A’s-brand baseball today, didn’t they?

Apparently Sony didn’t like the most recent draft of the script, which has changed substantially. …

I was fascinated by the choices director Steven Soderbergh was making, such having many of the figures in the book play themselves.

In the latest draft, Scott Hatteberg was to be played by Art Howe, and Art Howe by Marco Scutaro.

Art Howe cannot be inexplicably clutch. It just doesn’t make any sense.

Maybe she could adopt Sano so the A’s could get the inside track on signing him.

As to the needlessly self-flagellating title change, all I can say is that it was a nice weekend and the A’s were playing a crappy NL team.

In other words, the fact that there were few comments restores some of my faith in FKumanity.

      C’mon, it was a joke.

It was “Series Thread” times infinity. Not like I actually thought the site was permanently dead.

I’m all for real life on a weekend (although your Sunday is my Monday in Japan).

Maybe. I’d be interested in an analysis of his mechanics.

It just seems so counter-intuitive to me (and to Mr. Moyer).

    Sea lion saved from I-880

A young sea lion was rescued today after it was found roaming Interstate 880 in Oakland, a month after a similar incident in Richmond, authorities said. The whiskered critter, believed to be a year old, was found waddling on the center divide of northbound I-880 near the Oakland Coliseum at about 5:45 a.m., authorities said.

    No Larry Davis jokes please.
