Memorial DLDay 10

A man who is good enough to shed his blood for the country is good enough to be given a square deal bobblehead booblehead afterwards.

— Theodore Roosevelt Rossevelt

Note: Last night’s DLD got some weird code inserted in it. I’ve beefed up the security a bit and deleted that DLD. It does not appear to be an issue with other posts.

MAJOR FUNCTIONALITY CHANGE
Unread comments are now tracked by a database. This means a few things:

  • 1: All comments are currently marked as unread for everyone (or, more specifically, all comments posted after your registration date)
  • 2: “Mark all comments read” link now works as expected
  • 3: Comments you’ve read are tracked centrally, so they show up on any computer you use
  • 4: If you aren’t logged in, the widget provides a login link.
  • 5: I am teh awesome (unless there are bugs, in which case I’m sure you’ll let me know)
you better hope to God you don't show up in this little community, because you'll wish you had never come

Does it count as discriminatory if you don’t want to get in bed (metaphorically speaking) with Pansy Ho? And would my potential first daughter hate me later in life if I named her that?

In a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, MGM Mirage said that the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement had deemed Pansy Ho an “unsuitable” partner after a four-year investigation. The agency recommended that MGM Mirage “be directed to disengage” itself from the joint venture. Company officials didn’t reveal the reasons why regulators disapproved of Ho, and the report itself is confidential.

She unsuitable because she’s a Ho. C’mon. That’s so transparent.
