  4. whiteshoes40 Apr 22,2009 10:36 am

Am I reading this correctly? Did I just see ” K. Suzuki homered to deep left, J. Cust and M. Holliday scored” and it’s not some sort of twisted joke?

    !!!

gameday said “delay” and at first I thought it started hailing as soon as the ball went over the fence.

  6. monkeyball Apr 22,2009 10:40 am

Man, CC’s throwing a ton of pitches.

  7. batgirl Apr 22,2009 11:00 am

    nice play, cap’n!

  8. whiteshoes40 Apr 22,2009 11:01 am

    – J. Giambi safe at first on left fielder J. Damon’s fielding error, J. Giambi to second
    – M. Holliday singled to shortstop, J. Giambi to third

…I don’t know what’s going on, but I’m okay with it.

“And the sign said long-haired freaky people need not apply.”

    Gallagher, Buck, and Leopold?

  10. mikeA Apr 22,2009 11:02 am

I want a detailed essay on Jeter’s apparent bad play.

  11. whiteshoes40 Apr 22,2009 11:26 am

    [crickets]

Okay, so who threw out Swisher at second? What happened with the weird plays in the 3rd? I want details!

  12. mikeA Apr 22,2009 11:29 am

maybe not so many home runs?

  13. xbhaskarx Apr 22,2009 11:52 am

    Ellis comes through, tie game!
    Lousy throw by Melky.

  14. mikeA Apr 22,2009 12:02 pm

    This thing on?

  21. whiteshoes40 Apr 22,2009 2:14 pm

They’re still playing? What in the world…

  22. xbhaskarx Apr 22,2009 2:28 pm

Surprisingly nice inning from Giese, but at this point I can only assume that both Buck and Gallagher are dead.

  23. whiteshoes40 Apr 22,2009 2:38 pm

Zito pitched 7 scoreless innings for the Giants this afternoon.

    This is an odd day.

  24. xbhaskarx Apr 22,2009 2:51 pm

Giese doing his usual fly ball outs at the warning track thing.

I’m turning this off, my final comment:

    “Well, that was inevitable.”

Someone please edit the timestamp once the game ends…

  25. xbhaskarx-proxy Apr 22,2009 3:04 pm

    Well, that was inevitable.

I hate Yahoo. It’s frozen on Holliday’s AB in the 14th, so I didn’t even know the game was over until I went to MSN.

Seriously, why not Gallagher? Giese is a home run waiting to happen.
