A’s at Rangers, g3 24

FUCK YOU GEREN YOU CLUELESS TOAD Rajai Run! A’s up 1-0 going to bottom 1.

I expect that’s the last run we’ll see tonight from the A’s. No Cust, no Barton, no actual night off for Zk.

Mazzaro vs CJ Wilson.

Nah. Both teams have combined for 8 runs the first 2 nights, which means we are overdue for a 10-9 Ballpark in Arlington Special. Fortunately I have 3 bottles remaining from a 4-pack of Dogfish Head 90 Minute, so I’m in it for the long run tonight.

Speaking of Dogfish Head, has anyone seen this in stores?

Looks intriguing; reading down that page it says it will be available in bottles in “late August 2010”.

I’m reliant on Reno-based distributors who don’t seem to carry much of a selection of the less-common beers. You see the standards from the regional brewers such as Sierra Nevada, Anchor, Anderson Valley and Deschutes but nothing where you say, wow, that looks interesting and I’ve never tried it before. Ben’s in Carson City has about the best selection I’ve found. Next time I’m in the Bay Area, or even Sacramento, I’ll have to pull out the MasterCard and load up the back of the car with a few months’ supply.

My uncle who lives in that area frequents this place which apparently has a good selection of bottles in addition to their brewing supplies.

I’m off to Epic for this. Best $20 deal in SF, or so I’m told.

The only thing that makes me nervous is the indefinite article in front of the middle B.

It was fantastic. Everyone should go there.

Well, the free-range, grass-fed vegetarians, anyway.

No idea what they’d do for vegetarians.

Doesn’t look great right now, but C.J. Wilson has thrown 92 pitches through 5 innings, which means the A’s get a shot at Francisco at some point.

When I heard that I immediately thought of Bill King’s use of “physiognomy” on a broadcast; I don’t think he ever heard the end of that.

David Murphy is a very irritating ballplayer.

Barton and Cust should’ve been in the lineup against a guy who’s leading the league in giving up walks. Barton or Cust should’ve pinch hit for Rajai in that sixth inning.

I was covering my eyes there. Brad Ziegler getting a first-pitch GIDP out of Josh Hamilton is one of the more remarkable moments of the season. Or the series, at least.

How the FUCK is neither Cust nor Barton hitting for Rajai here?

      Regardless of result, still dumb.

And if Zk started at dh for his handedness, why wouldn’t HE be PH for? Dumb.

Just when I thought my snarky comment about Frank Francisco was about to look brilliant…

Blah. Congratulations to the Rangers. Try to score a couple of runs, at least, against the Yankees this time.
