Proffer his release.
Frankie say Sit Down!
“Do you support locally-made sausage?” is up there with “Stop casting porosity!”
That was weird.
Yeah, like Ray I don’t remember seeing that before but it makes sense so why not?
(Runners 1st and 3rd, full count so runner on 1st breaking on pitch, pickoff attempt to third starts the 1B runner and has him potentially hung out to dry (except he beat the throw to 2B)).
Great AB by Piscotty.
Hundley’s receiving leaves a lot to be desired.
If he catches the 3-2 to pitch to Kemp properly, instead of yanking it toward the dirt, none of this is happening.
or you could never pitch to bregman as I encourage
Hundley did an interesting thing on that strike 3 just now, set up a fake target up high early, when Montas wasn’t looking, then moved down to the real target low and in at the last second. Like he suspects the Astros of relaying pitch location.
I was going to compliment Montas on how well he’s mixing in quality off-speed pitches and then he throws that hanger.
Whew. I thought Bob had stuck with Montas one batter too long.
Montas had to make a couple of good pitches in tight spots tonight. Handled it well.
I think that was the first time this season Hundley failed to deliver in a GIDP situation. Fortunately Laureano made up for it with the caught stealing on the next pitch.
No, he had that rbi single (liner dropped by 3b) on wednesday.
near double play liner
And lo, God said to Aaron, “thou sucketh.”
Few pitchers can survive walking Jake Marisnick to lead off an inning. For Aaron Brooks that is certain fatality.
that is what i expected
by the way, did you know that dallas keuchel is still available?
Even the dead-ball era Final Four today has been more entertaining than the A’s.
In nobody cares about my **** news, my bracket in fact picked a Virginia – Texas Tech final game (and a UVA title).
Khris 5
Hundley 5
Good news: The Baltimore and Texas pitching staffs should wake up the A’s offfense.
Bad news: Estrada has to pitch in both of those ballparks.
Tonight we’ll see a classic Stoppable Force / Moveable Object matchup, as Estrada faces Chris Davis, who is only three hitless at-bats away from the all time 0-fer record. Reaching 0-for-47 would surpass the great Eugenio Velez (who compiled his 46 hitless ABs over a full year, then never played in the majors again).
It looks like part of the reason for the small crowds for the Red Sox series in Oakland is that the West Coast Sox fans skipped that midweek series and hit the weekend series in Phoenix instead.
Pathetic
Gonna need some pitching reinforcements to pack for Baltimore.
144man!
This ballpark is a FKing joke.
Man, I am glad this weeke d has been just busy enough to keep me away from games until today. #woof
I assume we are going to need to bring up some reinforcements tomorrow. Would be great if a DFA was involved. (And a FA starting pitcher plz).
Triple short of the cycle is the least interesting heads up you can be given.
So Profar takes a step and a dive and it is an “outstanding play” to Fosse. I’m not sure if that tells me more about Ray or Jurk store.
JB probably earning a 10 day Vegas vacation today with this great outing.
Time to just make Phegley the primary catcher for a while.
6 more A’s runs please.
Let’s just skip to the part where a pop fly to left walks us off.
not quite
In addition to all our self-inflicted injuries, this ump has totally sucked.
FFS.
