As has been noted by others here, Jed hasn’t been able to hit his way out of a paper bag since Piscotty ran into him right before the All-Star break. Grabbing the quick numbers off B-R, he’s .145/.272/.217 in the last 28 days and even worse more recently. Also, Piscotty is back to his early-season form.
Bob is giving Olson his fifth non-start of the season tonight, vs. the LHP. Olson’s slash line is about smack dab where it was in the middle of May so I don’t see him as the issue although I’d prefer fewer K’s.
I would prefer lowrie take a few days off.
