OK I went to VisitNebraska.com and I’m still not convinced.
I’ve never been to either Dakota or Nebraska and can’t think of a reason why I ever would. I guess parts of the Black Hills are scenic but not enough to be a destination. Kansas used to be on that list too, but the last time I was in KC to see the A’s I made a point of driving the two miles or so to cross over into Kansas City, KS to buy a Big Gulp or something, just to put the check mark next to Kansas.
My Amtrak from Denver to Chicago was stuck in Omaha for an unexplained hour and I got off and shot the shit with the porters for a while, so I think I’m good.
I’ll visit Nebraska ten more times before I ever go back to fucking South Dakota.
That was a great long thread to read through. I have definitely taken the approach of not carrying any weed when in states that haven’t legalized it, and won’t fly with it. But, I must say, my one experience in SD was pretty cool, as I was working in Deadwood on a project for Kevin Costner’s brother who owned a casino in town. And had a randomly fun night in Rapid City, plus saw Mt. Rushmore. All I’ve done in Nebraska is run out of gas on I-80.

i was not at home and am wondering if that wi-fi i was using is not secure. or if momentary wordpress issue.
I’ve been getting that for weeks now.
we figured out our mystery. it’s the wi-fi extension that i was logged in through. haven’t solved it, per se. an additional clue is that it started when switching from comcast to sonic fiber and i guess the extension isn’t re-configured accordingly. the main wi-fi works perfectly.

Ken and Vince were saying that Williams put up the stop sign yesterday too late for Fowler to put the brakes on. Watching the replay that’s harsh on Williams. He probably should have stopped Fowler sooner with Gordon out there, but Fowler just FKed up.
I heard someone today (Vince?) reporting that Fowler said that in the minors he got called out because he missed the base rounding third once and ever since he’s been overly focused on looking down at the base when he’s approaching it, so may have missed the sign due to that.
