Stormy weather in Washington, but not in Arizona,
from whence we get a rare treat today: televised AJ Puk (mlb.tv has the Brewers’ feed).
The Kensington police department may have some issues.
Chess news! Tomorrow in Berlin begins the Candidates Tournament to determine which of 8 top challengers will get to take on Magnus Carlsen for the world chess title (scheduled for November in London). Everyone plays everyone else twice (switching colors), with four games always going on at once. Most points at the end gets Magnus, with head-to-head results and then most wins as the tie-breakers.
Two Americans (Fabiano Caruana and Wesley So) made the field, and both have a reasonable shot to emerge.
