Yes, router to the TV via Chromecast using the phone as a remote control. That does put a long delay in as I notice that when I switch from watching directly on the phone to streaming to the TV time goes in reverse by a LOT. I would much much rather watch on the HDTV than the phone so I’ll put up with it…the hardware solution to the audio/video discrepancy only allows me to delay audio by about 16 seconds though, and the Chromecast delay is much more than that.
Yeah, I was thinking about this last night in light of lenscrafter’s comment above. If the whole pen is adequate and basically fungible, it seems odd to use both Madson and Dull for a second night in a row, rather than Axford, Montas (and maybe even Coulombe as a pure loogy) who haven’t pitched yet. Especially since IIRC Madson and Dull both struggled when working consecutive games last year.
(To be fair, I also said just a couple days ago that I wanted Dull in the high-leverage innings, and hindsight is 20/20…)
I remain skeptical of Dull’s ceiling given his stuff, but I generally agree that he needs to be pushed into high leverage spots to see where that ceiling is. I’m just perplexed at not using the bullpen’s supposed depth, especially when they carried an extra pitcher.

I’m busy running a drop-in program for trans folx and queers and an increasing amount of injectable drug users who come to us through our organization’s harm reduction program. It’s rewarding work, but I had to create flexibility so my heart can be hard sometimes and soft sometimes. Also, somehow I ended up becoming somewhat popular as a local music act, which is anxiety-inducing but a lot of fun too.
I predict the Cubs will repeat as World Champs unless they have two or more major injuries come playoff time, in which case, it’s open season. Hopefully today’s attacks will not be the opening salvo of World War III because it’s such a boring and mundane way to begin WWIII and I would really prefer it begin with something with more panache.
