In other news, the A’s are making a very strong push for the 3rd selection in the 2017 MLB Entry Draft.
My guess is that Tampa, San Diego, and Milwaukee all end up ahead in the standings. I would see Arizona, Philly, and Cincy as the biggest threats at this point.
Also, while very unlikely, the Braves have actually been playing pretty well and at least have a shot of playing themselves outta the 2nd selection.
