Games 138-140: Not Bo Porter’s Lastros 130

I sense I’m not the only one who is only watching an inning or two per game the last couple weeks. But today I’m letting the last of the summer tourists and the Burning Man refugees leave, and tomorrow night’s matchup of Sonny Gray vs. Scott Kazmir is legitimately interesting. Wednesday night’s Aaron Brooks start…well, maybe I’ll be around.

Even last year, when his bat was bad, he was worth 1.6 WAR. He was terrible this year in only 43 PA, but maybe he is worth keeping as a 4th OF.

Worrying that he hit in AAA this year almost exactly as he did in the ML last year. He’d still be a good 4th/5th OF on a playoff team.
