I have been out for a while this morning and Festival of Douchebaggery 2015 is well underway. Often I’ve gone away for Fourth of July weekend but I didn’t have it together this year. It’s the worst day of the year to live here by an enormous margin (thankfully it’s usually frigid on NYE so everybody comes out for a few minutes at midnight then flees back indoors). I shall seal myself in the bomb shelter for the rest of the day. Happily the thunder and lightning has already started, vigorously, and pouring rain appears imminent.
