I almost forgot we had a day game. It is sprinkling and overcast in the central valley-a perfect day to have some coffee and Irish Cream while we watch the A’s take on the Twins.
I had planned to do some garage cleaning this morning, so for now I thank the team for having this and keeping me from it. In an hour or so I may be thankful I can go do that to get away from whatever team dynamite has in store for us.
Seems like those on the scene think we may only have a small window to get the game in, so maybe we can avoid another blow up by getting to the 5th and stalling.

This morning has been a chance to listen to music to exorcise a ton of negativity from yesterday.
Just heard Toto talking about rain in Africa. Made me remember the music history teacher I had at FSU. He took at least 2-3 chances during the semester to go off at length ab out how amazing Jeff Procaro was. He also gave me a B on the big semester paper which was BS because he literally graded it by counting pages. (Got an A in the class so I didnt care but still…)

Well thank God CSNCA is showing replays of Italian league soccer and the Sacto Kings season review. We wouldnt want live sports to get in the way of THAT!
I still dont understand that logic. I would get it if they had to fly a crew out just for one game. But I dont see how there can be any serious expense to showing this game. And as low as viewership may be, are they really getting a huge bump with viewers watching the Roma soccer club weekly TV magazine where they couldnt show that later today?

Saw a friend of mine this weekend during the fight. She is a recruiter and offered to go over my resume. While talking, I mentioned the job I applied for at Amazon. “Hey-I am friends with one of their recruiters..get me your resume so I can also make sure it is right in front of him”.

3 days off is crazy. Normally I would say, well it’s all TV driven, but why would they choose not to have them play on Thursday night, the traditional night of TNT national games? And especially a Thursday night when nothing else is going on? They could still play in the ABC game on Saturday.
I think originally it was Game 1 on Tuesday, Game 2 Thursday and the same schedule as now going forward. They pushed the 1st two games because the Warriors swept and the Grizzlies won in 5.
