I was curious about this one or two months ago, so I actually registered as a potential donor with a place that is a few towns over from me. I even filled out a questionaire about my health and pooping habits! Plus they have this picture on their website:
My wife could certainly use one to cure her celiac, but our medical plan won’t approve it.
I’m thinking about just calling up a couple of gay dudes who are into scat and have regular BM’s and a blender and going the homebrew route.

As I was lounging I saw a sign there
And on the sign it said “Pants Are Required”
But on the other side it didn’t say nothing
That side was made for you and me
So, I finally made the move. I’ve been up in the Portland area for most of the past month, and I’m getting settled in and exploring. Going to be looking for work soon, and depending on what I find I may be relocating further within the area. For the time being I’m east of downtown with easy access to the Max, and I’ve already taken that a few times.
Saw the Warriors and Blazers last week, wandered around parts of downtown a couple days later on a beautiful 70-degree day, and dropping $5 on an all-day TriMet pass (good for Max, streetcar, and bus) is a pretty convenient setup.
Also had to go back and get myself re-acquainted with the food carts. The Frying Scotsman is great.
I personally would be weirded out by the incessant whiteness. Not the most diverse city, Portland.

I would absolutely DIE without authentic Vietnamese food served by gossipy old church ladies from Hanoi.

Decided to sign on for the first time in months and saw this. Welcome, stranger…
Best Vietnamese cuisine is on Northeast Sandy between 57th and 74th. That’s where the Hmong and other refugees settled down and where the Vietnamese/SE Asian Catholics dine post-church on Sunday. Also about the only thing I miss since I moved from there to southeast.
Where livest thou?
A soliloquy of fresh-sounding ideas which would probably be disastrous.
I’m losing it. I work in a small hospital, right? There are 10 women in our clinical department who are pregnant. I’m swimming in a vat of hormones and fragile emotions. It’s so bad I almost started spontaneously lactating today.
I’m not too surprised that the Rolling Stones announced a summer tour, but I didn’t think they’d be playing football stadiums. You would expect them to be on the county fair circuit by now.
Negotiations in Turkmenistan are at an advanced stage for Jack Nicklaus to lay out the first high-class golf course in central Asia, in Turkmenistan. Nicklaus, now 75 and winner of 18 majors between 1962 and 1986, flew to Ashgabat, the capital, last autumn to review possible sites and meet President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow. In addition, and at a later stage, the worldÂ’s greatest professional golfer would use his influence to help stage the first high-level golf tournament in the region, involving some of the worldÂ’s leading players.
I would like us to invite President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow to throw out the first pitch at an A’s game, as a senior brain exercise for Dick Callahan and Steve Vucinich.
Did someone just touch my ass?
I don’t have a plan… for anything.

Closest to me is Lowell MA, which is a good place to catch a minor league game, so long as you can stomach the Red Sox fans.
Fecal transplants are a thing.
Sometimes it’s like I birthed that FKer.

Forgot to answer the obvious question — no, they have not contacted me and I have not gone in to donate poop.
Usually they transplant within families.
I know, and they’re fucking awesome.

I’d lend you the brew gear, but then I wouldn’t want it back.
Muahahahahah!
Crowd Fund it!
According to a great article in the New Yorker there are plenty of do-it-yourself videos on youtube.
Doo it yourself.

Oh, proof from the other day.
Torro Bravo is somewhere you should check out when you want a nice dinner. I went there for the first time on my last trip. Really good tapas.
Thanks, will have to give them a try sometime.
How does Portland feel?
I personally would be weirded out by the incessant whiteness. Not the most diverse city, Portland.
Fine so far, and I dunno. The demographics didn’t really have anything to do with where I chose to go.
I would absolutely DIE without authentic Vietnamese food served by gossipy old church ladies from Hanoi.
There ARE some damned good food carts with a lot of international fare.

Maybe not all fitting your criteria, but…

For the moment I’m just off 84 around Gresham. Subject to change depending on job prospects and rental costs. Likely not buying at this stage.

If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em?
Having kids? No. Being a bitch? Gladly.
I think he meant breastfeeding.
OMG The Walking Dead. I want to shit my pants.
Won’t see it for a day or two yet SO NO SPOILERS!
We must talk later then.
They followed the comic pretty closely. At least within the scope of the changes they made. But still, pretty fucking awesome.
I always did like Morgan.
Do you guys watch The Flash or Arrow?
Neither; unusual as I am a certified comic book geek. Recommended?
Never watched. I wanted to start but didn’t know if it was worth my time.
I think I’m going to start an Arrow marathon. Stop by. Bring nachos. Or Twizzlers.
I’ve been thinking of trying out Arrow. Flash never really appeals to me for some reason.
That Superman can run faster pretty much makes him redundant.
Anybody excited for Jason Momoa as Aquaman?
Yes.
I’m not too surprised that the Rolling Stones announced a summer tour, but I didn’t think they’d be playing football stadiums. You would expect them to be on the county fair circuit by now.
Crazy things going on at HealthLoop these days. Based on this, we’ll probably need to be hiring soon.

I’m torn on the new Mad Max movie.
I’m kinda sad my streak of seeing all the Marvel movies while on vacation in SF will come to an end this year.
It doesn’t have to …
I’ve moved on…. but I just can’t quit you guys.
