At least it’s not Jamey Carroll, I guess 10

The A’s have a history of success failure in resurrecting strikeout-prone, power-hitting former prospects third basemen coming off of multiple back surgeries.

you better hope to God you don't show up in this little community, because you'll wish you had never come

Damn, I hate the Raiders but I sure do enjoy listening to Papa.

      Agreed on both counts.

Speaking as a Bengals fan, that was a painful ending.

Congrats to Raiders fans. Nice game.

    I wholeheartedly approve.

Yeah, it seems like a low-risk move with plenty of potential upside.

Just about any minor league free agent with any kind of upside is a good deal. This is such a deal.

Anything that moves us further from “Adam Kennedy, 2010 starting third baseman”, I’ll take gladly.

Given his back issues, I don’t know that this does that.

      That said, yeah, I agree, it’s low-cost, low-risk, WTFN.

.203/.301/.409 CHONE projection last year. Looks like his defense at 3B is probably about average. He is definitely not likely to be a good player, but maybe the most upside of any of these free guys.

His 3B D’s gotta be better than AK, right?
