After seeing the replay enough I think the hop didnt go as expected. It wasnt really a bad hop, but the angle wasnt as sharp. Barton’s momentum pulled him over. But man it looked awful live.

I guess it’s a good thing Balfour will be unavailable tomorrow. He really is struggling, and got lucky.

Fair point. It’s easier to win that way.

Just watched the ending on the replay – thank you Coco, thank you very much. And Sogard too, for that matter.

    What a great game.

Incidentally, the Rays first base coach was taken by the A’s with the first pick in the 1969 draft and put up an OPS+ of 55 in two years with them before becoming an all-star and MVP candidate with the Cardinals.

If this is His will, He's a son of a bitch.

    I had a weird dream last night…

It’s like, 15 years into the future, and I’m watching the World’s Toughest Dominatrix competition on ESPN, and of all people, Fosse and Kuiper are commentating.

Fosse’s FAR too old and broken to follow or even understand what’s going on, and Kuiper’s drunk and baiting Fosse into an argument…

Fosse: Wow! That woman in the heeled cleats just hit that naked guy HARD!

Kuiper: Yeah, like Pete Rose hit you, you old dirty SOB!

\"Weren\'t you already aware the Kay is already writing everyone\'s story? We\'re all just characters who believe we are real. Things make more sense now, don\'t they. Be honest.\"- DMOAS
