134- This Game Thread Kills Fascists 312

I figure all the locals are at the park, and the rest of us might check in from time to time, so here’s the appropriate thread.

I don’t know what to say other than that…  barbecuing chicken and some ribeyes I got stupid cheap…  got my ol’ buddy here cleaning up in preparation for tomorrow’s dinner guests…

We’re gonna start this 60 minute rock block with some Billy Squier, and we’ll be rockin’ ya back to back with Bob Seger, ZZ Top, Eddie Money, and Baris Manco!

MLB’s is a bit odd, in that they use positive numbers to show both the lead of the first wild-card team and the deficit of all the chasers for the second slot, but just add an explicit + sign to distinguish between them. Logically, they should list the first slot team as being a negative number of games behind.

Well, my project is no stranger to author lists that exceed the length of the actual publication. But I’ve been advised that publishing some of the smaller, more focused studies is good for my career. I can’t disagree. I published a ton in grad school, and I could still probably write a paper in that field in my sleep. But I’m in uncharted territory, not as familiar with the landscape in this new field. So I’m starting over a little. But, y’know, as Calvin’s dad would say…it builds character.

    Morneau to Pirates

    • MikeV Aug 31,2013 11:35 am || Up

Anecdotal – a guy I work with is Jesse Crain’s brother in law, so he spent a lot of time around Twins players.

Says Morneau is a total FKing asshole

And I have to say: mikev is one of my favorite people on here -slusser.

      Thanks, and go As.

      Damn, for basically Shane Peterson.

Wow, Niners released long snapper Brian Jennings. He was about to break the SF record of 208 consecutive regular season games started.

His farewell letter is kind of heartbreaking

And I have to say: mikev is one of my favorite people on here -slusser.

    Thanks, and go As.

they consider a long snapper coming in for the first punt a “start”

      that is sad

he sure likes to use the word “Men”

Her voice is fine, but her descriptions suck and the Yankees broadcasts are mostly advertising anyway.

That was a “Meineke first pitch of the plate appearance…”

“It’s a Dunkin’ Donuts throw back to the pitcher…”

“Rivera looks in for the Ford sign from the catcher…”

\"Weren\'t you already aware the Kay is already writing everyone\'s story? We\'re all just characters who believe we are real. Things make more sense now, don\'t they. Be honest.\"- DMOAS

I can’t hear her name without thinking about her on-air orgasm with Clemens announced his return to the Wanks.

I have friends coming up from the south bay. Accident on the bridge made it take umpteen hours.
